In a March 4th interview with state-media China Youth Daily, Gao Fu, director of the ChineseCenter for Disease Control and Prevention, said: ”The new coronavirus was first discovered in my country; as there is a live virus, we have chosen the route of inactivated vaccine." Gao Fu pointed out that vaccine research requires a third-level biosafety laboratory. The Wuhan Institute of Virology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the ChineseCenter for Disease Control and Prevention have provisionally converted their own experimental biosafety third-level laboratories into workshops for producing vaccine. "Having live viruses as well as biosafety third-level laboratories for the growth of viruses is not a condition that every country can achieve immediately. This enables China's inactivated vaccine to lead the world."

Gao Fu's confession justifies President Donald Trump's use of the phrase "China virus" and links it up with the Wuhan Biosafety Lab.
